"Smarter Efficiency"
Delivering Increasingly Efficient Services in
Challenging Times
The fourth annual Surveyor Highways Efficiency
conference
In association with HELG and the CSS
20th October 2009: The Russell Hotel,
London
With the uncertain economic climate, and the threat of spending
cuts, the industry faces an ever-increasing pressure to both
identify and deliver improved and increasingly efficient highways
services.
While a national cashable efficiency target is in place, there
are no individual authority or service targets, leaving the
responsibility to deliver improvements and achieve value for money
efficiencies with individual Councils and highways authorities.
With this ever-increasing pressure to be "efficiency smart" and
achieve more from less, the fourth annual Surveyor "Highways
Efficiency" conference will demonstrate how to achieve efficiency
gains through changes in culture, procurement and processes.
Who Should Attend?
From local authorities, government departments and the private
sector:
- Highway engineers and managers
- Directors of technical services
- Environmental, planning and transport managers
- Consultants and contractors responsible for highway
maintenance
- Suppliers, manufacturers and service providers to the
industry
